Visitation Information and Updates
Visitation is restricted at this time.
Beginning Monday, November 23, 2020, Christian Health Care Center is restricting visitation at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, The David F. Bolger Post-acute Care Unit, Southgate, The Longview Assisted Living Residence, and Ramapo Ridge Psychiatric Hospital in an effort to aggressively safeguard and protect our residents, patients, and staff.
Residents and patients in CHCC’s long-term/post-acute care and assisted living residences are currently COVID-free, and we remain in Phase 2* of re-opening, as designated by the New Jersey Department of Health. We are voluntarily taking extra precautionary measures to aggressively keep our residents, patients, and staff protected and safe in light of the rising COVID cases throughout the state and the country.
We recognize that visitation is important especially at this time of year. We thank you in advance for understanding and honoring our careful decision to prioritize health and safety as we continue to exercise an abundance of caution.
Essential caregiver visits will be limited to one visit per week for no more than two hours. Compassionate care visits will still be permitted on a limited basis. Hospice and End of Life visitation will be limited to those who fit the End of Life criteria based on physician assessment. Visitation restriction will apply with specific case-by-case allowances. The resident/patient’s social worker will communicate directly with families in these particular end-of-life circumstances.
We will continue to connect residents and patients with their loved one through telephone calls, texting, virtual visits, and window visits (weather-permitting).
Thank you for helping us keep the community safe!
