We love our volunteers!
Volunteers at Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) make a difference in the lives of patients, residents, clients, consumers, and staff every day. Each year, more than 300 adults and teenagers collectively provide nearly 15,000 hours of volunteer service to CHCC. Their responsibilities are varied and extensive. Some assist with activities or work in de Snoep Winkle Gift Shop and Tea Room. Others organize fundraisers or serve on the CHCC Board of Trustees.
Our goal is to make your volunteer experience a valuable one, while also benefiting CHCC residents and patients. Each of us is given gifts and talents to use for the common good. Through volunteering, people give of themselves and receive satisfaction and a sense of fulfillment. Volunteering provides an opportunity to help others, meet new people, keep your mind sharp, explore health careers, and fulfill educational, school, and church community-service requirements.
Some Current Needs:
Help transport residents to worship services and activities.
