Wayne, NJ … Christian Health Care Adult Day Services of Wayne will host an educational seminar presented by the Greater New Jersey Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 4. The program, “Effective Communication Strategies,” will explore how communication takes place when someone has Alzheimer’s disease. The program will help families and caregivers to decode the verbal and behavioral messages delivered by someone with dementia, and identify strategies to help them communicate at each stage of the disease. There is no fee for attending this program, but pre-registration is required.
